Cherry Blossoms around Kiji

Cherry blossom season around Kijimadaira and Iiyama usually peaks in mid to late April, later than Tokyo due to higher elevation and lingering snow. Full bloom lasts about one week, with a total viewing window of 10 to 14 days. Larger parks such as Takada Castle Park offer night illuminations, while local spots are quieter. Bloom timing shifts each year, so checking forecasts in early April is important.
